Last weekend marked the end of my summer wedding season. And what better way to wrap it up than with a gorgeous couple on a gorgeous, sunny day with a backyard wedding at sunset? Rob and Kristin said their I do’s alongside with their sweet children and friends and family standing by their sides. Kristin and I go way back, and I was so excited to see this beautiful girl, now a mother, become a bride and a wife. This wedding came true with the efforts of many… Friends of theirs landscaped their yard and opened up their home to host the ceremony and reception. The mother of the bride made the bridesmaid dresses (love them!), each the same yet able to wear differently. She also made a cute, corresponding dress for Kristin’s baby girl Makaela, the flower girl. And the bride herself baked and decorated the cupcakes! I can attest to their deliciousness ;) To Kristin and Rob, thank you so much for allowing me to play a small part in your special day. Regardless of what you may think, I’m not blowing air when I say you two are absolutely stunning in front of the camera! Here’s to wishing you and your beautiful family all the best and may you have a lovely few days in Arizona. Much appreciation! Kristin glowed. And that’s Makaela occupying herself in the basket! Their son Clayton was the ring bearer…love the shoes. Kristin’s Alfred Angelo gown was drop dead gorgeous… As always, I love when couples have a First Look… Kristin’s friend who flew in from France did an amazing job on all the flowers… Seriously, Kristin…stunning.
