I love this time of the year. The chance of snow, the pretty sunrises that seem to last all morning, and the lovely pink sunsets later in the afternoon. I love the cold, fresh air and picking up hot Starbucks drinks to take on a walk (and have you tried their new peppermint brownie cake pops?!!). There are cozy evenings in, decorating the tree and then enjoying its presence there after. I love being a newlywed and love it when my husband comes home from being away for work and we squeeze in as much quality time together before he takes off again. This week, that means roughly two full days. But no worries, I’ve got my own fun things and productive things planned like photos and Christmas shopping and girl time and if I’m feeling really ambitious, this home could use some Christmas cookie baking! This change in season and time of holidays has me feeling inspired. It’s my first slow season as a full time wedding photographer and I quite like the shift it brings. Time to catch up, slow down, re-evaluate and in time, prepare for the next round of beautiful weddings and couples. And enjoy things of Christmas and this time of year.

You inspire me. I can’t wait to be able to quit my retail job and to start a successful photography business. I. Can’t. Wait. (and alot of it has to do with your inspiration!)
