Tyler and Cassandra were married this past Saturday on what had been the hottest day of the year to date. Their wedding was a childhood dream come true for Cassie, who had always pictured herself a bride marrying her groom on her parents’ sprawling property along Chilliwack River, tucked in between the mountains. The day was filled with happy tears and embracing each moment and not one complaint from the bride – stunning in a lace gown with sleeves and cowboy boots underneath her full skirt – concerning the heat. It was near 100* F with the humidity but that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the two hours Cassie set aside for photos, no breaks needed. Even when we were ahead of schedule. As Tyler said, she’s a trooper. After all, this is a girl who goes sky diving and hunting and hang gliding and skinny dipping in the lake on the morning of her wedding day! Where Cassie’s exuberance and high spirits leave off, Tyler’s calm and collected demeanour picks up and these two truly know how to love each other and to live life to its fullest. To Tyler and Cassie, and your families, thank you for making us feel so welcome and inviting us to document such a beautiful celebration of your love. Now here’s to an amazing honeymoon of camping and cruising and a lifetime of happiness and adventure! Cassie wore the same necklace her mom wore on her wedding day, passed down from her grandmother Cassie is affectionately known as her father’s buddy and it was sweet to see the special relationship they share And while the girls got pretty, the men cleaned up well, too, and Shane was there to document it… First kiss as husband & wife – exactly seven years after their first kiss ever Such a gorgeous bride!
