Heavy rainfall warnings had been issued and for once, the forecast was correct. The cold rain fell without ceasing on Andy and Annie’s wedding day but here’s the thing…not one word of complaint came from either of them, and the bride glowed all the same as though the sun was shining. Andy and Annie’s focus remained on their love for one another and the love for their friends and family, gathered from near and far from across the globe. Rowena’s Inn, tucked in between the mountains alongside the river, offers not simply beautiful grounds and a view, but covered porches and big windows. And it was all we needed to carry off the photos without a weather-induced hitch (without even getting a drop of rain on the bride!). The ceremony was moved indoors into the drawing room where there was standing room only, making for an intimate celebration of love and marriage and happily ever after. To Andy and Annie, thank you, thank you! Your love, joy and grace throughout the day made photographing your wedding a true honour. Enjoy this sneak peek as I hope you are enjoying your first days as husband and wife… A sparkly pair of Jimmy Choo’s will brighten up any day… Annie’s dress was exquisite…and rented from a bridal shop in Taiwan! Chinese weddings are steeped in tradition. This includes the guys having to jump through hoops – set up by the bridesmaids – to help the groom win his bride… The reception tent was transformed into a cozy, candle-laden affair by the talented Wedding Design Studio, who also beautifully arranged all the florals… One thing I really love about Wedding Design Studio is that they work fast, ensuring we have time to photograph the carefully planned and thought out details before the party starts… Venue: Rowena’s Inn on the River Decor & Florals: Wedding Design Studio Videographer: Hello Tomorrow Wedding Films Photographer: Mikaela Ruth
