This past Spring I switched up my packaging and the way in which I deliver my clients’ photos. Prior, I had offered online galleries containing the high-res images, but I felt like I was missing a step. Even though I loved (and still do) the simplicity of the online gallery process, I missed sending something tangible, personalized, and thoughtful in the mail along with the collection of photos. So, I introduced customized, wooden USB drives into my workflow…and I love them! It gives me the opportunity to send a branded package along with a handwritten note and most importantly, the images, which are safe on the USB drive for years to come. Hours were spent researching the actual packaging ideas (and more could’ve been spent! Too many ideas out there!). Perhaps I’ll tweak it in the New Year, but for now I’m happy with how it came together.
