The ring was burning a hole in his pocket and there was no way he could wait any longer. Never mind that they were in the middle of a parking lot. Never mind that Gabby was trying to drag him into the ring store to go shopping…coincidentally, she had her eye on the same ring he was about to propose with. Dan got down on bended knee on the pavement and asked her to marry him. She can’t remember anything else he said, though there were other lovely words in there too. There was a “yes!” and then followed by, “you’re going to get hit, get up off the ground!” as cars paused to look and drive around the freshly engaged couple.
One year later, they’re in the Mayan Riviera and about to get married. This very afternoon, in fact. Yesterday we met up for the first time and got to know each other throughout their fun engagement session on the beach. Gabby warned me they weren’t naturals in front of the camera, but she proved wrong. Their love and affection for one another was completely natural and beautiful and their chemistry is evident in the photos…displacing Gabby’s previous comment. And I’m so excited to continue to document their story as they say their I do’s today.
See the rainbow? :) Mine on the left, Shane’s on the right and below.
