In crowds of rush-hour, Friday night New Yorkers and tourists, they had eyes only for each other… I met up with Randy and Sumeuy for the first time last winter, over coffee on a snowy evening. We hit it off as we talked of their recent engagement on Christmas Eve, of their wedding plans for 2013, and shared travel stories from around the globe. And then they asked – what do you think of an engagement session in New York City this Spring? It worked out all too perfectly; engagement sessions are already my favourite. But combine travel and photography and wonderful people to work with and hang out with in a city charged with energy and inspiration? Our trip also landed on the most beautiful weekend the city had experienced in awhile…all in all, we had an amazing time. Dodging crowds in Grand Central Station, we began there and worked our way over to Brooklyn…where we wandered streets lined with gorgeous homes and neat little restaurants, until we came upon the ever-romantic Brooklyn Bridge as the sun sank behind the city skyline… Randy and Sumeuy, thank you, thank you. We had such a wonderful, fun time with you two and truly look forward to your wedding next Spring!
