There is a time and a season for everything, and wedding season wrapped up almost two weeks ago with Chris and Tanya’s Calgary wedding. And because there is a time and a season for everything, I can be both grateful for the season I’m stepping out of, and grateful for the season of rest I’m stepping into. My 2012 weddings surpassed my goals and my dreams. At the same time, it’s so nice to be on this side of it. More on that in another post coming soon…in the meantime, here is what life has looked like lately…and by lately, I mean the past few months. It’s been awhile… I have found my house again, under the layers of dust and clutter that collected over the last few months. It feels so good. Except for my back. My back is feeling the effects of some rigorous mopping. Celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in Victoria. I’ve had this sudden urge to nest/bake/write. Finished and wept over my new favourite book, The Book Thief. As Fall drew near, so did a love for tea. Now that I’ve discovered David’s Tea, I’m near obsessed. About to start packing my bags for Maui next week! What better way to kick off a season of rest? Still working on a wall gallery of personal photos. I told you it was taking forever. Happy for the return of New Girl. Loving Fall and the chance to live in my new Frye boots. The cold rain I can do without. Unless it means a pair of new Hunter boots ;) Happy Wednesday!
