Lovers of nature and the great outdoors, Isaac and Lori Ann were hiking the Juan de Fuca trail with friends. They decided to put in a long first day, hours upon hours of trekking, and it stormed…so it was through rain and mud that they made it to camp where Lori Ann, understandably, only wanted to rest. But Isaac had other plans. He asked her on a walk and so she threw on her hoody and they made their way to the beach where Isaac pulled out his phone to take a photo of the two of them. Setting it up, he secretly switched it to video mode and catching Lori Ann off guard, proposed! Isaac felt the day perfect for it, as he could only see himself weathering the storms of life with her by his side.
This October Isaac and Lori Ann will be married at Fraser River Lodge and I’m so excited to document it. For me, it’s an extra treat getting to be their wedding photographer as just last year I photographed Lori Ann’s sister’s wedding! Such a wonderful family to work with. Cassandra and Tyler were married at their parents’ farm, the same farm where we took these engagement photos…
