At the mention of his name, a tear of happiness, of anticipation, and of love, rolled down her cheek. All she wanted was to see him, her soon to be husband, and become his wife. Her sister quickly took a tissue to Tanis’ cheek and dabbed the tear away from her perfectly applied makeup, which Tanis did herself. Then resumed the flurry of preparations, the smiles and the jokes to keep the mood light, and the ride to the church. Anticipation climbed and when Tanis walked down the aisle to David, to the instrumentals of a song he had written for her, the tears came once more. The day continued to unfold perfectly and beautifully, under a near cloudless sky. Tanis and David, I’m so grateful I could be there to document it all – but most importantly, your love and the beginning of your life together. Much appreciation and best wishes to you both! They did a lovely job with the arrangements of white orchids, lilies and hydrangeas.
