Personal vows were said. Promises to say I love you every day, to keep him warm, and to always be present in their relationship were made. They thanked their parents for being examples of commitment and love, because without them, they wouldn’t know how to love each other. Chris and Chelsea’s wedding was personal and heartfelt and celebrative, and all good things that weddings ought to be. They were married at Chris’ childhood home in Summerland, BC at his parents’ apple orchard. They shared their first look beneath boughs of apples and Chelsea, classically beautiful, wore her mom’s lace wedding dress, restyled and remade by her aunt. The day was made complete with a reception at La Punta Norte B&B, perched above Lake Okanagan. Guests, who were all made to feel like family, dined and danced until late, and to top off the personal touches from throughout the day, were treated to an amazing wedding cake made by the bride’s own mom! Chris and Chelsea, thank you from the bottom of my heart! It was once again a joy to photograph you two, and to share in such a wonderful day. The ladies got ready at La Punta Norte before heading to the orchard… Diamond earrings from her groom makes for an especially happy bride… Such a sweet first look… I was so in love with Chelsea’s bouquet!
