Their story goes like this: he pursued her for a year before she agreed to go on a date with him. Just to prove they weren’t meant to be. They worked together, and Chris would leave her notes at her desk, a cupcake even. Just to prove that his grandmother’s recipe was better than the rest. Chris was patient and persistent because, in his words, he knew what he wanted. When Tanya’s contract came to an end, when the year was up, Chris got his date with Tanya. And now, over four years later, they’re planning to say I do and prove to the world that they are meant to be, that their love will last a lifetime. These days, Tanya works for Westjet, the same airline that Shane works for. They met on a flight they were both working on, and started talking weddings…and now, we’re both so thrilled to be making the trip to Chris and Tanya’s hometown of Calgary for their wedding! The two of them came out to the Lower Mainland for their engagement session yesterday, and we had a great time getting to know them and getting warmed up for the photos we’ll take at their October wedding…
