Hello! My name is Jessica and I am the owner/finder of Trove Vintage Rentals (+ Handmade Affairs). I was asked by Mikaela to do a guest post while her and Shane are enjoying the rest of their tropical honeymoon, and even though I’d rather be in St. Lucia myself, I thought this was a pretty fun idea too. Mikaela and I first met up to work on a styled shoot somewhat recently – actually, this wasn’t our first meeting as we happened to go to the same elementary school not so recently. I’ve tracked down old baking and sewing equipment for a bride that is a professional baker and a groom that is involved in the fashion industry. It truly is all in the details, and there are so many ways to get creative. We live in a time where people are encouraged to look beyond cookie cutter weddings, and create a day that is a true celebration of two unique individuals coming together in love. It’s a beautiful thing :) Mikaela’s vintage lawn bowling styled shoot that I was able…
